School Uniform
The children are encouraged to wear school uniform as we believe that it helps to achieve high standards of appearance and to develop a sense of pride in belonging to St John's school. New sweatshirts, T-shirts and book bags are available from Mrs Dye in the office, where you can also purchase swimming hats. A limited stock of good quality seconds is also available.Girl´s Uniform

- Grey skirt or tunic
- White blouse or polo shirt
- Blue pullover, cardigan or school sweatshirt
- Blue/white check dress (summer)
- Low-heeled black shoes (not trainers)
- White socks
- In the winter girls may wear charcoal grey trousers (not leggings)
Boy´s Uniform
- Grey trousers
- White shirt with collar
- Blue pullover or school sweatshirt
- Black shoes
- Grey socks
PE Kit (boys and girls)
- Plain white T-shirt (this must be a change of clothing from uniform) or school T-shirt
- Blue shorts (not Bermuda or cycle shorts)
- Plain blue or navy jogging bottoms (outdoor PE only)
- Plimsolls (trainers are not allowed for indoor PE)
- Swimming costume (not bikini) for girls and swimming trunks (not Bermuda shorts) for boys. Children are expected to wear a swimming hat.
- All PE kit should be named and kept in a named PE bag that can be safely hung in the cloakroom.
- All children should have an overall, apron or old shirt for art and craft activities. Younger children would benefit from having a waterproof apron which covers the arms.
- Neither jeans nor T-shirts with slogans or pictures are permitted. The wearing of jewellery is not permitted; simple studs only are allowed and these should be removed during PE for health and safety reasons
