We are a Church of England controlled school admitting children from 5 to 11 years of age. The school is maintained by Kent County Council. Our school is central to the St John's area of Sevenoaks and stands on a site at the corner of Bayham Road and Kennedy Gardens. The site is shared with the St John's Branch Library, which is used by all pupils at the school. The school's accommodation consists of the original Victorian hall and offices with six classrooms added more recently.

Facilities include:

An assembly hall used for indoor physical education, lunches and drama work, including school productions, and for functions organised by the St John's Association

An area for music and television viewing adjacent to the hall

A school library

A large activity area

A designated room for Sevenoaks Cluster Schools SEN staff

A computer suite with nine workstations and internet access

At least one computer with printer in each classroom

A small sanctuary room for counselling, small group work and one to one work

A wild meadow area and a pond for scientific work

An extensive sports area including two playgrounds and a large playing field

Use of the swimming pool at nearby Walthamstow Hall.
